Open to 16-25-year-olds Living in the Nudgee Electorate

Applications are now open for the Nudgee Youth Advisory Council for 2023.

This is a great opportunity for local young people who are interested in government policy, community issues and being a voice for our youth.

The NYAC is now in its third year and has really given me an opportunity to work closely with some incredible young people in our community. It has allowed me to consult with committee members about the issues affecting them and their peers – and it has given them the chance to make themselves heard.

Over the past two years, Nudgee Youth Advisory Council members have had the opportunity be directly consulted on Bills to be debated in Parliament, met directly with Ministers, and toured Parliament House with Speaker Curtis Pitt.

I have had the pleasure of hearing from and working with such fantastic young people over the past 2 years, and I’m so excited to kick off another great year. How to Apply For the Nudgee Youth Advisory Council

I want to hear from you for my 2023 Nudgee Youth Advisory Council, if you are aged 16-25 and

• Live in the state electorate of Nudgee
• Are Interested in policy, government and being a voice for Nudgee youth
• Are Willing to actively participate in quarterly meetings and contribute ideas and solutions as a team-player.
