Social Housing: 30 new homes for vulnerable older Queenslanders in Clayfield

Social Housing at Clayfield

This vacant 30-unit property in Clayfield is set to be refurbished and converted into social housing.

The Palaszczuk Government has purchased the property which will provide an additional 30 homes for older Queenslanders.

The units are close to public transport and shops, with ample communal space and outdoor BBQ facilities. Residents will also be connected to a range of agencies to help support them as they age.

We know that safe, secure and affordable housing is vital, and whilst we acknowledge we still have more to do to increase housing supply, this is fantastic in helping alleviate local housing pressures on the Northside.
